Steve is an accomplished Designer with over 20 years of experience. Formally trained as an architect, he has a strong vision for space, detail, function and beauty. Steve’s consultative approach with his clients is about improving the quality of life with creative solutions. Many of his projects have been published in a variety of regional and national publications including Traditional Home, The Robb Report, Kitchen and Bath Ideas, 50 Dream Kitchens, and Chicago Home and Garden.
Steve enjoys cooking and entertaining, and understands firsthand what an important role the kitchen plays in the home. Steve holds a Bachelors of Science Degree from the College of Architecture at Arizona State University.

What are some of your favorite current design trends?
Today’s designs evolve from client lifestyles—very efficient kitchens with time savings appliances, organized mudrooms for active families and pet owners, spa inspired bathrooms, and closets where there truly is a place for everything!
Why did you choose the cabinet business?
With my background in architecture, I have the opportunity to improve quality of life through good design. Transforming a client’s vision into reality is extremely gratifying.
What is your approach to working with clients?
Consultative--Understanding the needs, wants, and lifestyles of my clients is key so I may offer a well-designed space with a fresh point of view. I assist clients in making the best decisions, and guide them through the entire process.
How do you start the design process with a new client?
First, confirm we are a good fit including project time line and budget. Second, develop a custom design addressing function, ergonomics, and the client needs. Third, begin collaborating with the entire project team for beautiful and functional results.
Do you have a favorite kitchen project to date?
The next one! Always something new and exciting around the corner!

Great design is the ability to translate your inspiration.
